I chose to review this book from my collection first, in relation to other articles published and purely because it is a fantastic book to start learning about the vast array of tattoo images that renders a tattoo studio. For those who opt for the "flash" designs (ie, a design that has already been drawn, printed, laminated, sold and displayed for tattooists to use as a vehicle ready, 'instant' design that does not necessarily change) - This book is a useful tool in helping to choose a design, and even gives a small amount of information about the history of the relationship and a common reason for choosing certain images, etc.
The book is well laid out, handy AZ format, and cross, indexed, and illustrated with three hundred examples of tattoo line art. Although the images themselves are not particularly useful to the 'hard' image is picked up for a real tattoo, for either the consumer or tattooist - they are subtle enough to get a general idea about the design they represent. And with the added bonus of being able to study in their own homes, even though it may help some to feel more confident when they walk in their chosen tattoo studio - has more knowledge and a better idea of tattoos are about to choose izzida.
Tattoo Encyclopedia is a very good reference books - even looking for information about the tattoos that you may already have decided to live, but not necessarily fully educated on the true meaning and historical links and vrijednosti.Su examples of tattoo images in the range of anchors worn by sailors, the Harley-Davidson tattoos inked on bikers, to the tigers so many people choose to be a permanent body art. It also includes a welcome series of religious-themed tattoos, which many people do not seem to properly research before choosing a new piece of ink -. Including Chinese, Buddhist, Christian, and some tribal and pagan examples
I bought this book about three years ago, only as a way of helping people to understand what their particular chosen tattoo represents his connection. I am also looking for more material, which included some tattoo history write-ups - "a very brief history of tattooing 'is included in this encyclopedia, then a small amount of the symbolism, which so well served by their own studies, reports and papers. There a small part of the 'how to use this book "- a little" disclaimer "that I agree with 100% -" it is important to note that the nature of the tattoo symbol is sometimes so personal that the only definitive interpretation can come from holder of a tattoo. regardless established meaning in one culture, obviously meaning derives from the historical facts, or the original source of a particular image, people will make their meanings attributed to its design. "who calls you to remember not to take this book as" gospel "to continue to maintain its intended meaning and interpretation of the tattoo, but just to get a little more knowledge about the design of this book, and use this knowledge as you wish. Ignore it, argue against it, is completely rubbish, or it is like. Piece of information that you May not have known or even considered before
Anyway, this book is still worth having, even if just for a coffee table or as a great conversation starter. Teris Green writes is very easy to read, informative and educational, but not too formalno.Ugodan read all year.
